Development Charges Report

Take notice that on Monday, March 11, 2019, the Town of The Blue Mountains will hold a Public Information Centre (PIC) regarding proposed development charge rates and policies that will be applied throughout the Town.

The purpose of the PIC is to present findings outlined in the 2019 DC Background Study and provide the public with an opportunity to ask questions.

The Statutory Public Meeting, as required by the Development Charges Act, will be held immediately following the PIC (7:00P.M. in Council Chambers, Town Hall, Town of The Blue Mountains).

Any questions or comments raised at the PIC will be recorded and entered into the public record as part of the Statutory Public Meeting.

Should any person like to make written or verbal representation in support or opposition to the by-law before Council, they may do so at the Statutory Public Meeting immediately following the PIC.

The Blue Mountains Council will be holding a Public Information Centre and a Public Meeting to provide information to the public and to allow the public the opportunity to review and comment on the 2019 Draft Budget and supporting Tax Rate Changes as well as the 2019 Draft Water and Wastewater Budget and Rates. Information and handouts will be available, with Town representatives in attendance to respond to inquiries and to receive comments from the public.

Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of The Blue Mountains, at its regularly scheduled Council Meeting on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, intends to adopt the Estimated Revenues and Expenditures for all departments of the Town for the year 2019 and intends to adopt the 2019 Water and Wastewater Budget and Water and Wastewater Rates.
